Flu Vaccination Service
The flu vaccine is available at McDermott's Pharmacy each year from October onwards. Our pharmacists are fully trained to administer the flu vaccine safely and conveniently.
Who Should Get the Flu Vaccine?
The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone over 6 months of age, and is especially important for:
- People aged 65 and over
- Pregnant women
- People with chronic medical conditions
- Healthcare workers
- Carers
- Children aged 2–17 (nasal spray vaccine)
Free Flu Vaccine: Many people are entitled to a free flu vaccine under the HSE scheme. Ask our pharmacist if you qualify.
